Persistent and compartmentalized T cell immunity in ALS

Nature Medicine, Published online: 27 October 2026; doi:10.1038/s41591-026-04728-5In ALS, persistent T cell responses relate to disease outcome differently in blood than in cerebrospinal fluid, with both intrathecal antigen presentation and cytomegalovirus-specific immunity linked to worse clinical outcomes.
