GALE is a tumor-intrinsic checkpoint of Vγ9Vδ2 T cell-mediated killing
From the report
Nature Cancer, Published online: 30 October 2026; doi:10.1038/s43018-026-01249-5Shan et al. identified UDP-galactose 4-epimerase as an immune checkpoint of Vγ9Vδ2 T cell-mediated cancer cell killing by enhancing interaction of CD155 and CEACAM1 with their receptors TIGIT and TIM3, respectively, and simultaneously inhibiting CD155 binding to CD22.
